Happy Monday! I hope everyone has recovered from the disruptive full moon last week.
We are wading into precarious skies as Mars inches steadily closer to his first opposition to Pluto on November 3rd. As the Sun moves into the Mars-ruled sign of Scorpio tomorrow, this showdown between Mars and Pluto is likely to settle deeper into our psyche, taking up residence in as many nooks and crannies of our subconscious as it can access, potentially building in intensity until the Scorpio New Moon on November 1st.
Theresa and I are taking a break from the podcast while she travels with her family and while I assist my parents as my dad recovers from surgery. But, planning for our hiatus, I tried to cover all the major astrological dynamics at play from now until the end of October in our last episode. In case you missed it, you can listen here.

2025 Year-Ahead Readings
As we mentioned in our latest episode, Theresa and I will be offering joint year-ahead readings again for 2025! This is our second year offering these readings, which blend astrological chart analysis with intuitive insight to craft a personalized roadmap for the year ahead. It’s been our New Year’s tradition to gift each other year-ahead readings for almost a decade, and the tradition inspired us to offer these readings to our community.
Your 2025 Year Ahead Reading will cover the major themes, challenges, and opportunities of 2025. I will outline the key astrological configurations as they impact your personal chart, while Theresa offers her intuitive insights on a month-by-month basis. We’ll discuss your ruling planets and profection-activated houses, as well as provide remedial ideas for navigating difficult transits and making the most of opportune moments.
We think it’s an ideal holiday gift for loved ones—and a perfect treat for yourself!

These readings will be available from November through the end of January. Each session should last approximately 90 minutes, and no longer than 2 hours.

October Live Session
Our live session for October will be held at the end of the month to accommodate Theresa’s travel schedule.
We will get together on Monday, October 28th at 4:30 PM PST.
Our Skies and Currents live sessions are a wonderful and supportive space where all are welcome. I’m happy to answer questions about anything we discuss on the podcast. Sometimes we have time for individual chart questions, sometimes we work on journal prompts, and we almost always sit for a short meditation during which Theresa offers free healing work, using her profound gifts to help remediate the current astrology.
